hope floats

Today we had the privilege of attending the 8th annual Hope Floats event put on by KinderMourn. KinderMourn is an organization that supports grieving parents in Charlotte, NC. The annual event Hope Floats allows folks to adopt one or several rubber ducks in memory of a loved one. We were there supporting my sister, brother-in-law and niece remembering sweet baby Bizzell that went to heaven about a year ago. 18,000 rubber ducks were adopted and raced down the rapids at the U.S. National Whitewater Center. What a neat sight it was to see them all at once.

We have hope and confidence that we will see baby Bizzell again one day. We can't wait to see you soon!

  1. What a wonderful event! I'm new to Charlotte and wish I had known this was going on. I'll have to put it on my calendar for next year.
