they're a hoot

Tonight was our church's Trunk or Treat so Georgia went as an owl and so did her cousin Leighton. What a fun night it was. We started out at the Trunk or Treat and then headed to my parent's house for a delicious chili dinner. We were able to see our newest little pumpkin too - baby Bennett.

We managed to get a few pictures in before we got in the car. Honestly I wasn't sure how long Georgia would leave the owl cap on so I wanted to capture some pictures quickly in case she refused to wear it the remainder of the evening.

Trunk or Treat time! As you can see, Georgia is trying to get the hat off:)

There is a size appropriate pumpkin for each grand-baby at Grammy and Grandaddy's house!

These two are a hoot!

where the tigers play

We took Georgia to her first Clemson game on Saturday so she could see where the tigers play! We had an absolute blast. Georgia's Uncle Andrew and Aunt Danielle live in Greenville so we stayed with them Friday night and then all woke up early to head to the game. I was pleasantly surprised how well our little cheerleader did. We stayed in the game almost up until half time and then she and I took a stroll around town and around the campus. She got her nap in during our stroll and then woke up just in time to tailgate after the game! The weather was gorgeous and the tigers pulled a win! It can't get better than that!

Nap time

Napping in the Carillon Garden - so peaceful

I decided I would walk around campus some while Georgia slept. We made our way to the library.

Next up was Fort Hill

We ended our walk by Sirrine Hall, where I spent most of my days.

Time to celebrate our win!

fall weekend

The weather was just perfect this weekend so we spent lots of time outside. On Saturday we walked around our town's fall festival. Georgia loved watching the dancers.

I also took advantage of the lovely natural light and took some photos of Georgia and Paul on our front porch.

Saturday night, I FINALLY completed my bulletin board project. I've had the materials for over 2 months now and just never took the time to actually make it, but I tackled it this weekend. I really like how it turned out. I plan to put it over our computer/work station and display cards, Georgia's artwork, etc...

Speaking of Georgia's artwork. We received her first piece of artwork to bring home with us a couple weeks ago. I felt so proud even though there were just a few squiggles here and there with some smashed goldfish of course - look closely and there's still a piece hanging on:). It is so cute and I just had to keep it.

Lastly, after church today we met my parents and Ashley, Daniel and Leighton at the Carolina Renaissance Festival. Paul and I haven't been in almost 10 years. It was fun to see the girls faces. We enjoyed broccoli cheddar soup in a bread bowl, jousting, camel rides and fairies.

We ended the night with an early b-day celebration for me. What a great weekend it was!
