christmas morning

Christmas morning was nothing short of spectacular. We celebrate the birth of Jesus and Santa Claus at our house. May Graham and Georgia always know and understand the greatest gift that was ever given on Christmas which was God sending his son to earth to save us.

Santa Claus did visit our house and the kid's faces were priceless. Georgia was so very excited to see what Santa brought.

Graham had a wonderful first Christmas. He was all smiles and enjoyed playing with his new toys too.

7 months

You are 7 months old Graham! Over the past month you have really discovered your voice and talk (squawk:) up a storm! You celebrated your first Thanksgiving and have had fun participating in fun Christmas activities. You have enjoyed seeing all the Christmas lights. The biggest milestone this month was your first tooth. Another tooth just popped up the other day so now you have two bottom teeth.  What a sweet, smiley baby you are!

Stats:
27.5 inches long
18lbs and 1 oz

What Graham has been up to:
Jumping and Jumping like crazy in your jumper
Teething. Your first tooth came immediately followed by a second.
Rolling all over the floor
Chewing anything you can get your hands on
Laughing at your sister
Listening to mommy read
Eating rice cereal, but you are not a fan of many foods
Most nights you sleep about 7-8 hours straight (that's a win in my book:)

We love you Graham Carter.

halloween fun

We kicked off Halloween week this year with a trip to Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens to check out their new children's garden, Lost Hollow. They had a bootanical event going on and all kids in costume got in free. The architecture is just beautiful. Our little Elsa and Olaf both seemed to enjoy the sights and scenery. I highly recommend it!

On Sunday Georgia had a blast at our church's Trunk or Treat. On Halloween day, she enjoyed her school party and trick or treating that evening. We call her our curious Georgia. She received a glow stick at her school party and decided to bite into it just before we were going to go trick or treating.  I made a call to the NC Poison Center and they said all would be fine- just wash her hands and mouth and have her drink 8 oz of water. She loves to keep us on our toes:)

It was a fun Halloween for sure!

Graham's Dedication

Happy Happy Joy Joy! Today was Graham's Dedication day. Its was a beautiful celebration of Paul and I committing in front of family and friends that we will teach Graham to know and serve Jesus.   My dad played The Lord's Prayer on the oboe during the service and we hosted a luncheon at our home afterwards. What a lovely and special day it was.

I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in the truth. 3 John 1:4

dining room love

Paul and I talk often about building a custom home. If we decide to go that route, this dining room will be my inspiration for our own. What a cozy and stylish place to dine!

30th

Well, today is my 30th birthday and I had the most beautiful celebration over the weekend surrounded by fall foliage, wine and good friends. I cannot think of a better way to celebrate the big 3-0! The party was held at Silver Fork Winery in Morganton, NC. This winery really has one of the best views and their wines are some of my favorite. A big thank you to my mom and sister who coordinated the party. It was magazine-worthy and a celebration that I will never forget.

Cheers to year 30! The best is yet to come!
