Can you believe college football season kicks off this weekend? I can't wait to cheer on my Clemson Tigers! We will be cheering them on mainly from the comfort of our home, but do have tickets to go to one game this year. There is some orange goodness from Gap in case you are on the hunt for orange game day attire!

winding down
Summer is winding down and school is now in session. We are still soaking up the final days of summer though since technically the seasons haven't changed yet.
Blackberry cobbler reminds me of summer so I decided to make one last night. I followed the same recipe as this peach cobbler recipe, but just used blackberries instead of peaches. It was delicious!
Georgia loves to be outside. She's a summer baby and I think she will always like the warmth of the sun and running in the grass with those sweet bare feet. Oh summer. You are lovely and we will miss you, but are looking forward to the cool, crisp days that fall will bring! Enjoy the final days of summer friends!

washer and dryer countertop
Since we got our new washer and dryer a couple months ago, we've been talking about building a counter to put on top of them. And by (we) I mean Paul would build this:) We are just looking for something simple mainly to hide the cords behind the washer and dryer, but it would also have a functional purpose too. Here are just a few that I like.

Have you built something similar? I would love to see other ideas.
Happy Friday Friends!

lazy 5 trip
Here are lots of pictures from our Saturday trip to the Lazy 5 Ranch. If you've never been to Lazy 5, it is quite the experience. You can drive, yes drive your car through the zoo and feed the animals. There were a few times when I was a little bit nervous especially when the zebra stuck his head in the car. The main reason for going on Saturday was to hopefully catch a glimpse of the baby giraffe that was born there last week. You see, Georgia loves giraffes. There is one small plastic giraffe that literally is her security blanket so we thought she might like to see the real thing. We didn't see the baby giraffe, but saw several others. We had an absolute blast!

full of personality
Georgia is just full of personality these days and we are loving it. Here are some pictures that I've taken over the past few weeks.
She loves to hang out by the steps. I've even caught her up on the third step. A gate has now been purchased and will be installed:)
She's walking/running everywhere!
She also likes to watch daddy cut the grass.
