the polar express

A little over a week ago we made our way to Bryson City, NC to ride on The Polar Express train. Fun was had by all. The kids loved it, but the adults may have loved it even more! We all wore our jammies just as the kids did in the movie.  We made sure to watch the movie right after Thanksgiving so it was fresh on our minds. The staff did a wonderful job making the train ride come to life. Hopefully we can go again in a few years.  I'll let the pictures do the rest of the talking!

snapshot of november

November came and went so quickly. It sort of feels like a blur to me. Before we move into the craziness of December I wanted to take time to remember the fun things we did in November.

We celebrated Leighton's 5th birthday with pony rides.

Here's what Georgia thought of the pony!

We celebrated Thanksgiving.

We celebrated my grandparents 65th wedding anniversary.

We went to the mountains to look for a tree.

Georgia had her first movie theater experience. We saw Frozen. She did great and the movie was just adorable.

While in the mountains we visited Apple Hill Farm where we saw pigs, alpacas, chickens, sheep and horses.

Lastly, we've been adding Christmas cheer to the house. I added fur and yarn trees to Georgia's room.

November was a fun month indeed!

pumpkin pickin'

We spotted a cute little pumpkin patch today on the side of the road and decided to pull over and snap some pictures of Georgia and pick up a few pumpkins. Fall is officially in full swing now!

Disney

It has been almost two weeks since we went to Disney World. Both of Georgia's grandparents came with us. We had a great time and enjoyed seeing Georgia's excitement. Disney is a tad exhausting, but just so magical and so much fun. Here are a few pictures from our trip.
